Building dignity together

Like many charities and community organisations, All About Us is facing significant funding cuts.
Grants that once helped us keep services have been reducing or ending, while demand for support continues to grow. Families are under more pressure than ever, and the need for safe, inclusive, welcoming spaces has not gone away.
Our priority is to protect services and avoid increasing prices wherever possible. To do that, we must become more sustainable, building income in ways that align with our values and keep dignity at the centre of everything we do.
This is why the Pop-In Community Café matters so deeply. It is more than a café. It is a training and employment pathway for autistic young people and adults, a safe and inclusive space for families, and a place where pay-it-forward and low-cost meals help reduce food insecurity. The café will also generate vital income that is reinvested directly back into our charitable services.
We are very close to making this a reality. The remaining funds will allow us to complete building works, begin operations, and secure a sustainable future for our services. Without this final push, the risk of service reduction or future price increases becomes very real.
If you are able to help, there are many ways to get involved.
You can donate or share our campaign
Set up your own individual fundraiser, take on a personal challenge, or fundraise with friends, family, or colleagues.
Every fundraiser, no matter how small, brings us one step closer.
You can also support us by helping create items for our craft sales. Whether you knit, sew, paint, build, bake, or craft in any way, your time and creativity can be turned into income that directly supports our community. Group craft sessions, school projects, workplace initiatives, and individual contributions are all welcome.

Every contribution of money, time, or skill helps us protect services, keep support accessible, and build something lasting together.
Thank you for standing with us and believing in a more inclusive community.
Thank you to everyone who has shared, donated and supported AAU.
We have raised 70000 towards this work. The final £30,000 is needed to complete essential accessibility works, including a disabled toilet and low-level counters, so everyone can use and enjoy the Pop-In Community Café with dignity.
This is more than food and drink. It is a safe, inclusive space, a training and employment pathway for autistic young people and adults, and a way to protect services at a time of significant funding cuts.
Without this final £30,000 we cannot provide accessibility to those most in need of a safe space to belong. With it, we can create a welcoming community space where no one is excluded.
We now need your help:
❤️ Individual fundraisers
❤️ Creating crafts
❤️ Donating £5
❤️ Sharing our appeal
❤️ Volunteering with AAU to reach others and assist with sessions
So please donate if you can, or share our campaign to others: https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/buildingdignitytogether
Every pound, every share, helps us open the doors.
