Launching Our Homelessness Prevention Service for Young People (aged 16–24)
We are excited to launch our Homelessness Prevention Service aimed at supporting young people aged 16–24 who are neuro diverse, leaving care or in Foster care. This project is funded by the NIHE Homeless Prevention fund. This new service at All About Us provides practical person centered support to help young people, maintain stable housing and access the community support they need.
Our service includes:
Outreach support to help young people familiarise themselves with and attend local support groups
Drop-in support offering guidance, advice, and a safe space to discuss housing or personal concerns
Practical life skills and one-to-one guidance, including managing finances, independent living, and wellbeing
We focus on early intervention, empowering young people to navigate challenges before they escalate into crises.
Every individual will receive support tailored to their needs, helping them build confidence, independence, and connections in their community.
Who can access the service:
Young people aged 16–24 who are neurodiverse, leaving care, or in foster care, and at risk of homelessness.
Referral and contact:
Self-referral, family, carers, or support professionals.
